What is MapAndMove.se?

MapAndMove.se is an interactive platform that collects open data about all of Sweden's municipalities in one place. Using maps, statistics and comparison tools, you can easily explore where in Sweden you want to live.

Whether you're considering moving, looking for information before making a decision or just curious, here you'll find everything from population statistics and housing costs to tax rates and election results.

Our purpose

Sweden has incredible variation between municipalities, from cities with hundreds of thousands of residents to rural municipalities with just a few thousand. Yet it's often difficult to compare them in a simple way.

We want to make it easier to:

• Compare municipalities based on what matters most to you
• Find municipalities actively seeking new residents
• Understand differences in living conditions, costs and services
• Get a complete picture of a municipality before making a decision

Open data

All statistics on MapAndMove.se come from public and open sources, primarily SCB (Statistics Sweden) via Kolada (the Municipality and Region Database). We strive to keep data up-to-date and accurate.
