For everyday needs, most things suffice: a couple of grocery shops, a branch of the state-run off-licence Systembolaget, a library, a patisserie and a restaurant. It shows most clearly among the young: few go on to further education, and fewer than in most places have a job in their twenties. The differences within the municipality are large for such a small place.
