Around twenty nature reserves and just as many viewpoints, plus campsites around the lakes in the Sätila area. Most of what is on offer is in Kinna and Skene, while smaller settlements such as Horred, Fritsla, Hyssna and Sätila have the essentials, often a grocery shop, a school and a church, but for the wider range you have to travel in. The median income is around the national average, the share with a tight economy below the national level and unemployment clearly below average. Strongest is young people's foothold in the labour market: employment among those in their twenties is among the higher figures in the country, an area where people can get a job early without a university degree. The education level is roughly at the national average. The differences within the municipality follow a familiar pattern.
