The sea, the nature around Kullaberg, solid brick houses at reasonable prices and a comfortable distance to Helsingborg and Ängelholm keep coming up as arguments, and the municipality is sometimes described as an overlooked gem where the Sweden of the 1990s seems to have lingered on, safe and beautiful with the big cities within reach. The driftwood sculpture park Nimis on Kullaberg is a popular outing, and in summer Mölle and the market hall become a haunt for holidaymakers. The counter-image comes mostly from the neighbours, digs about a self-satisfied small town with plenty of pensioners and a nightlife that fits inside a single bar. In and around the main town there are around thirty restaurants, a handful of cafés, a cinema and several museums, among them Höganäs Museum, a maritime museum in Viken and Kullaberg's nature centre, plus a designer outlet that draws visitors. Most of it is geared towards daylight and outings rather than nightlife. Nature is the main attraction: Kullaberg, several nature reserves along the coast, beaches and campsites.
