Där finns ett par matbutiker, en handfull caféer och bagerier, ett bibliotek och Johannamuseet. Vill man äta ute finns en handfull restauranger spridda över kommunen, flera av dem ute vid kusten i Abbekås och Skivarp, där Hörte Brygga och Skivarps Gästgivaregård drar folk även utifrån. Längs havet ligger friluftsbadet, ett par campingplatser och Mossbystrand, och söderut tar Österlen vid. The down-to-earth self-image is strong. There are a couple of grocery stores, a handful of cafés and bakeries, a library and the Johanna Museum. For eating out there is a handful of restaurants spread across the municipality, several of them out on the coast in Abbekås and Skivarp, where Hörte Brygga and Skivarps Gästgivaregård draw people in from outside too. Along the sea there is an outdoor bathing spot, a couple of campsites and Mossbystrand, and to the south Österlen begins. This is not a place with a city's range of services around the corner, but for swimming, nature and a dinner by the water, it goes a long way."},{"type":"p","text":"The differences within the municipality follow the coast.
