The main town has a couple of grocery shops, a Systembolaget, a handful of cafes and a cinema in the Röda Kvarn cultural centre. Restaurants are few, so anyone who wants to eat out often quickly notices that the choice is limited, but there are a couple of pizzerias and street food stalls. A bit of curiosity breaks the pattern: the Bokmärkesmuseet, a bookmark museum, is one of few of its kind in the country. For those who want to be active there is a swimming pool, around ten sports halls and sports grounds, and there are several nature reserves and campsites around the area.
