At Kungens Kurva there is one of the country's largest shopping areas with IKEA, department stores and a cinema at Heron City, and around the municipality there are about thirty grocery shops, about ten gyms, several libraries and well over fifty restaurants. Nature is never far away: Flottsbro with its outdoor recreation area and bathing, the Gömsta ängar nature reserve, and plenty of lakes and parks. Median income is clearly above the national average, the share with a longer higher education is among the highest in the country, and the share of households with low financial standing is lower than in the country as a whole. Unemployment, however, is higher than the national average. The spread within the municipality is wide. The detached-house-heavy parts in the south and the more rural districts sit high, while several residential areas in the north sit considerably lower."},{"type":"p","text":"Reported crimes are roughly in line with the national average.
